Q1. Find the zeroes of the polynomial p(x)=4√3x²+5x-2√3 and verify the relationship between its zeroes and coefficients.

Q2. Find the LCM and HCF of the following pairs of integers and verify that LCM×HCF=product of two numbers. (a) 867 and 255.

Q3. The sum of ages of two friends is 20 years. Four years ago, the product of their age was 48. Find their present ages.

Q4.Find the value of x : x²-8x+15=0

Q5. Q.5 Find the value of ‘k’ for which the system of equation kx+3y=k-3 and 12x+ky=k will have no solution.

Q6. Find the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial given as x²+7x+10 and verify the relationship between zeroes and the coefficients.

Q11. The length of the rectangle is 5 cm more than its breadth. If its area is 150 cm², find the length and breadth of the rectangle.

Q14. Solve the system of equations :

Q15. Find two consecutive odd positive integers sum of whose squares is 290.

Find the discriminant of the given equations 2x²-4x+3=0 and hence find the nature of the roots.

Q16. A fraction becomes 9/12 if 2 is added to both numerator and denominator. If 3 is added to both numerator and denominator, then it becomes 5/6. Find the fraction.
